Panic Books is a small, but up and coming independent bookstore focusing on horror, Sci-fi, mystery and the paranormal. 

Growing up in 70s and 80s, I was fortunate enough to be apart of the cheesy, campy (what we now call “Cult Classics”) horror movie craze of the Friday the 13ths, Nightmare On Elm St. and Poltergeists series, just to name a few. 

Those movies had me wanting more scares and chills. I soon found myself staying up late at nights because of my imagination as I read stories by Stephen King, Clive Barker, Edgar Allen Poe and H.P. Lovecraft, again, just to name a few. 

Panic Books was started due to my love of books, which, I have accumulated many, many of. You will find a variety of books on my bookshelves in fiction and non-ficition, from ARCs and uncorrected proofs to the latest in ghost hunting to 50s sci-fi magazines featuring authors like Isaac Asimov and Richard Matheson.

As much as I love movies, there is nothing like a good book. As you get consumed in the story, you get to make up all the little details. No hollywood director is going to tell you exactly what a character looks like.
